So suppose you want to purchase a LaFerrari, Porsche 918, or McLaren P1… the holy trio of current hyper-car offerings. Even if you had the truckloads of cash on-hand to purchase one of these three adrenaline inducing unidentified driving objects, you’d run into a problem… they’re all sold out. Fortunately, the one brand not currently penetrating that hyper-car space has something that for all intents and purposes could quite suitably occupy that space. The Lamborghini Aventador SV, or “SuperVeloce”, which in English basically translates to, super fast. When we first heard of the upgrade to the standard Aventador, the Aventador S, and its whopping 730 Horsepower we weren’t quite sure of where Lamborghini would head next. Well, they’ve now added a “V” next to the “S”, added Bat-mobile looking, functional aerodynamics, dropped some weight, upped the horsepower (yet again) and produced an evil sounding, stealth fighter looking road car that doesn’t look like it ought to be driven on the road. But blessed are we that it can be. Photos via Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A.
